Each receiver uses a 2032 button cell battery (included)

The regular kit comes with remote, manual, 2 receivers, and 2  pads.  

and pads are also available for purchase-- we have the swirl  and  pads designed for the devices.  Our small pads will also work.  Alternatively, our adapter allows use with any pin accessory. The possibilities are endless....

Do be aware it has a 15 minute auto-shutoff.  Easy to turn back on, but there as a safety feature.
